4XEM 4XUSBCC31G210 10ft 10Gbps Black USB-C Male to USB-C Male Cable
Astonishing picture quality with support for Ultra HD 4K at 60 Hz.
The 4XUSBCC31G210 USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) Cable (M/M) carries a 5A power rating and supports a full 100W of power, which is plenty for fast-charging large-capacity mobile devices, such as the AppleĀ® MacBook Pro. It connects any two devices with USB-C and/or Thunderbolt 3 ports, such as smartphones, tablets, computers and wall chargers.
This 10-foot cable also supports USB 3.1 Gen 2 data transfer speeds up to 10 Gbps. Reversible USB-C male connectors plug into a USB or Thunderbolt port in either direction for fast, fumble-free connection every time.
Difference between USB 3.1 and USB-C
While USB 3.1 defines the protocol how the two devices are talking to each other USB-C is how the plug looks like. USB 3.1 allows a data transfer rate up to 10 Gbit/s. Compared with the Type-C plug this will change the way we connect and use devices in the next years
The USB-C Plug
The 24-pin double-sided connector provides four power/ground pairs, two differential pairs for USB 2.0 data bus, four pairs for high-speed data bus, two "sideband use" pins, and two configuration pins for cable orientation detection. This will allow multiple devices while still maintaining high speeds ā with the orientation detection the interface will work even when plugged in upside down.
